DON'T FORGET TO "LIKE" BEE-OTCH OF THE DAY ON FACEBOOK!
Name: Donald Trump
Age: 69
Occupation: president wannabe
Last Seen: ??
Bee-otched For: phoning it in
---Looks like the Donald won't be allowed to phone it in anymore.
Literally.
Yesterday, it was announced that both NBC's Meet the Press and Fox News Sunday will no longer allow Trump to call in those shows. He had been a weekly regular on the Sunday morning shows via phone, a privilege he had enjoyed since he's a busy man. But since other candidates have been forced to physically appear on those shows, it was simply unfair to them.
Let's face it: the media wants this to be a Trump/Clinton race. Trump has name brand recognition and so does Clinton. Plus, both tend to be quite moderate. But since Trump has been attracting the type of voter that everyday people simply don't want to see at the polls, maybe it is a great idea for the networks to realize that if this man is elected president, the country will turn into one giant episode of The Jerry Springer Show. Trump has been on the Sunday morning circuit 63 times, 28 of them via phone.
You know, I'm happy that Bernie won two out of three states in this week's primaries. If he wins California, it's a giant spit in the face for Hillary. True, if he loses, I might still vote for her since I don't want Trump to be my president.
The media needs to leave Donald alone. The more press he gets, the better it is for him and his war-loving followers. Maybe this is why I like CBS News Sunday Morning a lot better than most of the political chat fests. At least with Charles Osgood, you learn something.
But with Meet the Press, you learn that the show's announcer is the dude from the Allstate commercials.
