The former governor of Arizona was right all along.
When she became the Secretary of Homeland Security, Janet Napolitano warned the media that a wave of hate crimes would retch the nation. Since then, her successor as Arizona governor, Jan Brewer decided to pass one of the most-unconstitutional laws ever passed in this country: if you're Hispanic, a cop can ask for your ID. If you can't find one, it's off to Mexico you go.
Oh, and one of the men who saved Gabrielle Giffords' life was one of her interns, Daniel Hernendez, Jr., a Hispanic. While Giffords was bleeding from her gunshot wound, he applied pressure to the exit wound. Gee, I wonder how many times he's been asked for his ID?
However, not long before Giffords' assassination attempt, a political action committee for Sarah Palin decided to stage an attack on Giffords and 19 other House Democrats who supported President Obama's healthcare bill. So how did they do it? Simple: with the graphic you see above. And yes, those are crosshairs targeting each of the Representatives, and yes, Giffords was one of the targets.
Giffords commented that she feared that there would be consequences in Palin's comments targeting her and the 19 others. Sadly, we would learn the outcome on Saturday when 22-year-old outsider Jared Loughler shot Giffords and 19 others while she was talking with shoppers at a Safeway near Tucson. As of this writing, Giffords is starting to show signs of recovery, but IMO, sadly, she will live the rest of her life in a somewhat vegetative state.
Look at it this way: Sarah Palin is anti-government. So is Jared. Palin is a right-winged Christian, and right-winged Christians hate Jews. So did Jared. So on, and so on.
Sorry, but there's some links between the two. If Jared had a brain, he would realize that there was nothing wrong with Gabby Giffords. Yes, she's Jewish, but who f'n cares? Her vote on Obama's healthcare bill proves that she's on the side of America, unlike Sarah Palin who thinks that "Obamacare" would be run by "death panels". Bullshit. The real "death panels" are the asshole health insurance companies whose CEOs are billionaires and won't help cancer patients because of "pre-existing conditions".
If Sarah Palin becomes our president in 2012, watch out. America will die a sick, sad, pathetic death. Honestly, if I were the media, I would leave her alone. I'm tired of hearing about her and her fat cunt daughter Bristol and how she's barely an adult and can actually live in a house. Oh, and Sarah Palin's Alaska - her show on TLC - has been canceled! GOOD!
Look at it this way: if we ignore Sarah Palin and her Tea Party bullshit, we could prevent more copycat massacres like this one.
