The city of Austin, TX has a slogan: "Keep Austin Weird".
Weird is nice, but sadly, this cuckoo is absolutely dangerous.
A judge in Seattle has shut down plans for Cody Wilson to publish online blueprints to make ten guns, including the AR-15 that was used in the tragic school shooting in Parkland, FL earlier this year. The blueprints could be used by anybody to make them on a 3D printer. This means that anybody who has no access to guns could make them if they wanted to.
Even though the judge blocked Wilson's plans, over 2,500 people now have access to them online.
Drumpf even tweeted, "I am looking into 3-D Plastic Guns being sold to the public. Already spoke to NRA, doesn’t seem to make much sense!"
Yes, it doesn't make much sense, but since Wilson is claiming is First and Second Amendment rights, well, if the eight Attorneys General that want him to stop, it sucks to be him. Of course, the First Amendment is all about free speech, but when you publish something that might lead to the deaths of many, it's worse than screaming "FIRE!" in a crowded theater, even though there is no fire to speak of.
Wilson is the head of Defense Unlimited, a nonprofit group that was going to post the instructions online. the plastic guns would have no serial numbers and wouldn't need a background check. So, this is good news for felons on the street. The guns are also dangerous because the plastic will break, causing them to self-destruct while shooting.
Sadly, With Repukes running the show, they could allow Wilson to release the plans if they wanted to. But this will be a case that I think will be debated and fought for a long time. I feel that semiautomatic guns have no place in society, period. If you have a mental problem, you need to stay away from guns, period.
If this asshole gets his way, prepare for Armageddon.
