1.14.21 Bee-otch of the Day: Tommy Vext

Bee-otch of the Day honors are awarded Monday through Thursday; Bee-otch of the Week is awarded Sunday morning on Chuck69.com's socials.

Name: Tommy Vext
Age: 38
Occupation: former lead singer, Bad Wolves
Last Seen: Los Angeles
Bee-otched for: making rock stupid again

--

The fallout from last week's melee at the Capitol has had its effect on the entertainment industry, especially in the world of rock.

On Saturday, it was announced that popular band Bad Wolves - best-known for their 2018 cover of The Cranberries' "Zombie" - had parted ways with lead singer Tommy Vext (nee Cummings). There's no official word on whether or not Vext left on his own accord or if he was let go.

Bad Wolves rose to fame with their "Zombie" cover, in which Cranberries lead singer Delores O'Riordan was supposed to appear on as a duet. However, on the morning when the song was supposed to be recorded, O'Riordan drowned in her hotel bathtub. She was just 46. The band decided to record the song anyway and donated the proceeds to Delores' children. Because of their deed, they would become one of Rock's most-respected groups.

The 'Wolves have scored six top ten smash hits on the Mainstream Rock charts. Some of the songs are personal, like "Remember When", a song Vext wrote about his identical twin brother. While Tommy chose a successful life of sobriety and music, his brother chose drugs. He's now serving a 17-year jail sentence for trying to kill Tommy while under the influence.

Other hits include "Sober" - a song about alcoholism - and their current hit on rock radio, "Learn To Walk Again".

There's no word as to why Vext is no longer with the band. But, word had it that it all had to do with good 'ol politics. Last year, Vext announced that he was supporting Drumpf. Not only that, but Vext also announced that he believed that Black Lives Matter was "manufactured" by George Soros and that he - a light-skinned black man - never experienced racism in his life.

Vext has also had his run-ins with the law. In 2008, while he was in the group Divine Heresy, he punched bandmate Dino Cazares, also the guitarist of industrial metal legends Fear Factory and his wife at the Metal Mayhem Festival in southern California. Because of this, he was ousted from the band.

Vext's most-recent allegations come from his ex-girlfriend, fitness model Whitney Johns. She claimed that last year, Vext got vexed and dragged her into a bathroom and choked her. As a result, she has a restraining order, forbidding Vext from being 100 yards from her. Vext's response? "Fake AF news" and that it was all "cancel culture" from the liberal media.

Now, Vext has launched a GoFundMe page to launch a solo career, which has raised $90,000 out of his targeted $100,000. He says that his first album will be a "double covers" LP. No word on if "Smack My Bitch Up" will be on there.

You know, rock 'n roll is about freedom and expression. When I was a teen, most of my rock heroes had the balls to tell the world that they were leftists. Bands like Pearl Jam, Rage Against the Machine, Nine Inch Nails, Green Day and so on. To this day, I think most rockers are leftists. However, I totally agree that most bands out there today try to keep politics out of their music. But, there's some who do, and do it wrong.

For example, Five Finger Death Punch, who ironically, Vext was a temporary lead singer for when frontman Ivan Moody was in rehab a few years ago. Plus, guitarist Zoltan Bathory is Bad Wolves' manager. The video for their latest single, "Living The Dream", pokes fun at mask wearers and politicians (*cough*Nancy Pelosi*cough*) who think they're exempt. In Avenged Sevenfold's 2016 video for the title track of "The Stage", a puppet of Hillary Clinton is with puppets of Angela Merkel, Kim Jong-Un and Vladimir Putin treating a crowd like puppets themselves. However, the camera pans up and those politicians are controlled by none other than the Grim Reaper. Oddly enough, "The Stage" was A7X's last album to date.

Even legendary rockers have shown their distain for Biden and/or their love for Drumpf. Sully Erna of Godsmack was quoted on his internet radio show "I don’t care if Drumpf stays or goes, do not let him control this country" and "he’s not really controlling (the country) – it’s all the people pulling his puppet strings that are gonna control it." Bear in mind that Godsmack's 1998 hit "Bad Religion" is an anti-abortion anthem.

And yes, don't get me started on people like Morrissey, Kid Rock, John Lydon, Gene Simmons, Meat Loaf, Dave Mustaine, Sammy Hagar, Alice Cooper and yes, Ted Nugent.

Both Jon Cooper of the Christian rock band Skillet and Phil Labonte of All That Remains have expressed their distain for Facebook, Twitter and other social media sites for censoring Drumpf. Newsflash: DRUMPF'S FIRST AMENDMENT RIGHTS WERE NOT TAKEN AWAY! PERIOD! END OF GODDAMNED STORY! What he did was the equivalent of somebody yelling "FIRE!" in a theater when there's no fire. When people run to the exits and trample all over each other, they get injured or worse, killed in the process. The asshole who yelled "FIRE!" is now liable for murder and should spend the rest of their lives behind bars. Drumpf's foolish tweets killed several Washington police officers and even some of his own followers. He's been impeached twice, and deservingly so.

Look, I don't blame Bad Wolves for firing Tommy Vext, **IF** he was fired. The reality is that people like Vext are in the minority. In the past 30 years, only one Republican president WON the popular vote, and it was Dubya's second term. Drumpf only won because of the Electoral College, which misleads the county into thinking that land can vote. It's nothing more than affirmative action for rural America. True, there was the flap regarding the Democratic National Convention screwing over Bernie Sanders for Hillary, and that was good news for Drumpf's campaign.

If Tommy Vext never experienced racism, good for him. Then again, he's light-skinned. At least one of his ex-bandmates from Bad Wolves, guitarist Doc Coyle - also a light-skinned man of color - gets it and condemned Vext for his idiotic statements. People like George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Eric Garner, Jacob Blake, Martin Luther King, Rosa Parks and countless others would proudly condemn Vext's idiotic statements. They would all want to see him face the shit they've all faced by the hands of racists. Maybe they would love to see him walk in their shoes, being hung from a tree, dragged behind a truck, being whipped by a sharecropper or kneeled on their neck by a cop. It's sad that many viewed him since Bad Wolves broke out three years ago as one of rock's good guys. But now, he's another Uncle Tom.

Funny that one of Bad Wolves' most-popular songs was a tune called "Hear Me Now". Now, Tommy Vext needs to STFU.

America is #1... for #2.

It's official: Drumpf has become the first president in American history to get impeached twice. The first time was for collusion in the Russia investigation. Now, it's for fueling the melee at the Capitol one week ago today.

The Senate won't meet to continue on with Drumpf's impeachment hearings until January 19th, a day before Joe Biden's inaugural. Granted, some are viewing this as a waste, but bear in mind that Drumpf can run again for a second term in 2024.

Meanwhile, New York City is axing their contracts with Drumpf. Mayor Bill de Blasio told NBC News this afternoon that the contracts state that if they and their leadership ingage in illegal activities, that it is null and void. Erich Drumpf says that the Drumpf Organization will fight the City.

With his double impeachment and just about everybody and their mother avoiding him like the Bubonic Plague, Drumpf should feel lucky that his snake oil pitch to the goobers of America worked to get him in as POTUS. However, most of us sank to new lows because of it. Even worse, many who still love him are still on that MAGA high like one who huffs jenkem.

Thankfully, it will be all over soon, I hope. I just hope that the Democrats won't make the mistake of getting of bullshitting a true leftist like Bernie Sanders to put the establishment in. Fuck, I cringed seeing Debbie Wasserman Schultz announcing that she would be voting for Drumpf's impeachment. After all, she helped get him elected. Yes, Biden's lucky he got elected because Drumpf was the worst president ever. But bear in mind that at the end of his presidency (and maybe Kamala's), healthcare in America will still be too damn expensive, college debt will still be astronomical and billionaires will still hardly pay any taxes. Just sayin'.

But hey, Drumpf will be gone, one way or another.

1.12.21 Bee-otch of the Day: Rick Snyder

Bee-otch of the Day honors are awarded Monday through Thursday; Bee-otch of the Week is awarded Sunday morning on Chuck69.com's socials.

After almost a decade, closure might be coming to the long-poisoned city of Flint.

The State of Michigan has filed charges against former Michigan governor pRick Snyder over causing the mostly-African American city to drink dirty, lead-tainted water. When he was governor, Snyder appointed emergency managers in several black majority cities in the state including Flint, Benton Harbor and Pontiac. Basically put, these appointed managers were put in place of elected officials, including the mayor.

In Flint's case, they were paying the City of Detroit to pump water from Lake Huron to them. Well, Snyder decided that Flint should have its own water supply. Too bad that he chose the tainted Flint River as the source. In 2014, Snyder switched the water supply and immediately, people got sick. People died from Legionnaire's Disease and over 10,000 Flint children are now brain damaged from the lead-tainted water. As a matter of fact, GM complained that the water rusted their parts, so the City of Flint switched back to the old system just for them.

Today, most of the lines corroded by the switchover have been replaced, though some 500 lines still need to be inspected. Victims of the Flint Water Crisis have been awarded over $600 million, but that's not enough for some people. Since the crisis began, only one person, state epidemiologist Corinne Miller was convicted for not reporting the Legionnaire's Disease to the public. Her sentence? One year's probation, 300 hours' community service and a $1,000 fine.

One probable reason for Flint switching over to river water was because Snyder allowed Nestle to pump water out of Lake Erie for a mere $200 per year and plop it on store shelves under their "PureLife" label. After all, their CEO even proclaimed that water wasn't even a human right, which I call bullshit on.

Since leaving the governorship in 2019, Snyder has kept a low profile, though he did endorse Joe Biden for president. But, that might not keep him out of jail.

Tragically, pRick Snyder was another failed businessman who threw Gateway under the bus and fucked over American workers. His business strategies did not help Michigan, especially when he fucked over the unions as governor.

Today, our state is governed by Gretchen Whitmer, who just might be the best governor this state's had. I'm happy that we're going in the right direction in terms of COVID-19 and now, sending Snyder to prison where he belongs. It's people like Snyder, Drumpf and others that make me proud that I'll never vote Republican. Sorry, but I like clean water, not having somebody with COVID breathe all over me and good paying jobs, all things that would never happen if Brian Calley was governor.

Snyder won't be just one tough turd, but, his fellow inmates will enjoy watching him take a shit in his cell.

In just nine days, the worst nightmare in America's history since the Great Depression will start crawling to an end.

Drumpf will have no choice but to bequeath the presidency to Joe Biden, albeit kicking and screaming or simply sitting in a corner pouting. He won't be at the inaugural, making him the first president to do so since Andrew Jackson.

Meanwhile, social media platforms Twitter and Facebook have banned him. Many have told him to move to conservative-friendly Parler, whose app is being taken down on Apple and Google. Some have even cried that Facebook and Twitter are taking away Drumpf's First Amendment rights. In reality, they are not.

Let me tell you a story from my childhood. When I was young, I wanted a Game Boy. My parents wanted to teach me the precious lesson of saving, so I saved every nickel and penny I could. I saved $90 and bought my Game Boy with my own money. My parents were so proud that they bought me a case for my Game Boy, which also fit a few games and cables.

Well, right around the same time, my father had some severe back issues and couldn't work. So, he looked in the paper and saw that there was a family going through a divorce and needed a babysitter for their son, who was autistic. So, he got the job and one of the first things the kid did was run straight to my room. Needless to say, his hands were in his mouth all the time. He would touch EVERYTHING he wanted to. Being a germaphobe, I kept telling him to wash his hands and, well, he didn't.

Over time, he managed to ignore my orders and I got pissed. He threw tantrums and damn near broke my Super Nintendo by pulling a cartridge out without pushing the eject button. His final nail on the coffin came when he took my Game Boy case and threw it across the room. Thankfully, my Game Boy was not in the case, but the case itself unattached itself from its hinges. Because of this, I had convinced my parents enough that he was no longer welcome in my bedroom, or even our house.

You see, Drumpf did the same thing with Twitter. He used it to spread lies and hate. He riled up his supporters to a rally at the Capitol and we all know the rest. Virtually all social media sites want nothing to do with him. Yes, there's Parler, but even that's gone now. Companies have pulled all support for him and even a few Republicans have said that they would even vote for his impeachment.

One congressman who has said that he would vote for Drumpf's impeachment is the one representing my district, Peter Meijer. Funny, since he replaced Justin Amash, who was one of the first Republicans to called for impeachment. With this district being very conservative, love for Amash from the right faltered while he registered as an independent. Amash chose not to run again, paving the way for a battle between Meijer - an heir to the mega retailer - and Democrat Hillary Scholten. Obviously, Meijer won. It wouldn't shock me if his family pressured him to call for impeachment given that a non-impeachment vote would help hurt the family business.

The painful reality for Drumpf is how weak and powerless he's become all the sudden. He's lost Congress, the Senate and now, his corporate pals. He promised to "Make America Great Again", but it was already at its best in years under Obama. I, and too many others will be so happy when Drumpf is out and our country can heal.

Yes, we have First Amendment rights. But, when people use it to kill others, it's like calling "FIRE!" in a movie theater.

Every. Fucking. Republican. President. Since. Nixon. Was. Fucking. Horrible.

When I was in elementary school, my PE teachers all taught me something called "sportsmanship".

When you were a kid, you too, should have been taught sportsmanship. If you lose, congratulate the other team. If you lose too much, find something else you're good at.

Sportsmanship applies to not just sports, but life itself. Sometimes,  I catch myself reading small town newspapers online. In some of those papers, there's pages of ads congratulating a new business opening in the community. One ad i recently saw was a full page congratulation to a new supermarket that opened up in Benzonia, Michigan in the 1970s, the Crystal Plaza Thriftway. Many area businesses put in small ads congratulating the store and its owners. One of those businesses was Benzonia's other grocery store at the time, an old-timey downtowner called Maddock's. Even though 1) the Maddock family probably knew that they were going to be mauled by the new Thriftway and 2) they had the same supplier, Viking Foods, it was nice for them to greet the new (big) store in town. However, Maddock's closed a few years later and its building has long been demolished. However, Crystal Plaza Thriftway is still in business as SpartanNash-supplied Shop-n-Save.

Granted, it was probably a sad day when the Maddock family had to shutter their grocery store. But, the Thriftway's owner, John Riegler was a risk-taker. He owned several other grocery stores in northern Michigan, some more-successful than others. He built the new Thriftway to replace his much-smaller store a mile away in Beulah. When the new store was built, it caused other grocers in the area to shutter. For years, what's now Shop-N-Save was the sole grocer serving Beulah and Benzonia - combined population: 850 - though a Save-A-Lot opened just down the street a few years ago. Beulah's last full-service grocer, an IGA, closed over 20 years ago and is now split between an A. Papano's Pizzeria and a salon.

Sometimes, you need to pass the baton to a new guy and realize that they have more and better to offer. It's too bad that the asshole who was president of the United States for the past four years could not realize this. The people have spoken, and it's time for him to leave.

We know what happened yesterday. When the Senate was securing the votes to elect Joe Biden as President, Drumpf's supporters overstepped security and rioted through the Capitol. Items were stolen, personal belongings were ransacked and, well, we've seen the images. Rome burned while Nero - sitting in the White House - played the fiddle.

The good news is that after some order was restored to the Capitol, the Senate continued on while many who announced that they wouldn't allow Biden's votes changed their minds. In the wee hours of the morning, hell froze over and Drumpf conceded. In a video, Drumpf told the rioters that they will pay LONG AFTER he called them "good people" while those who kneel for the National Anthem are called "sons of bitches".

It's too bad that a lot had to happen to Drumpf to FINALLY get him to do so. The massacre at the Capitol was brought on by his LIES regarding the so-called "red wave" that took over the country. As a result, four people were killed and 50 police officers were injured in the melee.

Thankfully, action is being taken. Both Facebook and Twitter have suspended Drumpf's accounts and Sen. Chuck Schumer and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi are calling for vice president Mike Pence to invoke the 25th Amendment, removing Drumpf from the White House. If that's not the case, Drumpf will be impeached again. In said video, Drumpf has said that he has no plans of leaving the White House.

Drumpf is also losing his longtime staff. Transportation secretary Elaine Chao has quit and as a big shocker, Betsy Devos has also resigned as education head.

The sad truth is that there's a reason Drumpf in in the White House, and it's because of the establishment who put Hillary Clinton on a pedestal while Bernie Sanders got fucked over in 2016. There's more liberals in America than conservatives and Hillary, plain and simple is a conservative. If you were a true liberal in 2016, you: A) voted for Hillary because Drumpf's worse, B) voted for Jill Stein or C) didn't vote at all. And sadly, we knew what the end result was.

True, I'm not Joe Biden's biggest cheerleader. But judging by his speech today, better him than Drumpf. Thirteen days is simply too much at this point. We can only hope that what happened yesterday at the Nation's Capitol will be the worst that happens beforehand.

At this point, I think Drumpf and Malaria are going to die in a Führerbunker.

Holy crap, Drumpf actually has a brain sometimes!

The de facto president for 15 days more has pushed Congress and the Senate to increase stimulus payments to $2000, something that he and Democrats can actually agree on. But, there's a turtle in the way.

Many Republicans, especially senate majority leader Mitch McConnell are against giving Americans that extra $1,400. Mitch's excuse? There's a lot of people who make six figures who haven't lost their jobs since the pandemic began. Oh, horseshit.

With millions of Americans unemployed and having children to feed, this money is important. Mitchy-poo is simply trying to protect the pockets of the wealthy. Other nations around the world have given their citizens $2,000 per month. And Mitchell the Turtle is crying about those who make six figures?

Meanwhile, GOD BLESS BERNIE SANDERS for his recent filibuster attacking the Repukes for giving too much money to the wealthy as-is. The more I think about it, the more I wish Bernie was our president today. Bernie is a fighter while Drumpf is out golfing.

As I'm typing this, The results of Georgia's senate race is deadlocked and almost even. However, the majority of the votes to be counted is in one of the state's most-liberal counties. If Warnock and Ossoff win tonight, the Turtle will be demoted to minority leader. True, I'm not the world's biggest fan of Chuck Schumer, but better him over Mitch the Bitch any day.

If all three branches go blue, our country can start healing again and by Christmas, I hope COVID-19 will be long gone and we can go back to living normal lives. It's a shame that the people of Kentucky reelected Mitch, but Georgia can tell him that he and his party are very weak and very powerless.

Time for the Turtle to crawl back into his shell.

And we start the new year with something that proves that everything old is still new again and again.

With 16 days until Joe Biden is officially sworn in as the 46th POTUS, it's insanity knowing that Drumpf spent the weekend begging Georgia's Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger to overturn the state's election results, which favored Biden.

In the call, Drumpf begged Raffensperger to "find" the 11,780 votes needed for him to achieve victory in Georgia. Meanwhile, Georgians will return to the polls Tuesday to vote in the senatorial runoff election between David Perdue (R) and Jon Ossoff (D) and Kelly Loeffler (R) and Reverend Raphael Warnock (D). The Republicans are the incumbents. If the Dems are elected, it will give the Senate a 50/50 split between them and the Repukes, though technically, it will be 50 (R)s, 48 (D)s and two independents: Maine's Angus King and Vermont's Bernie Sanders. Both King and Sanders, however, usually vote with the Democrats. When Biden is elected president on January 20th, Vice President Kamala Harris will be the President of the Senate, giving it a Democratic majority IF Georgia votes in Democrats on Tuesday.

To me, Drumpf begging Georgia's SOS to "find the votes" AFTER they've recounted three times is like somebody who pretends to be your friend who begs you to give them $500, even though you don't have it. Biden won Georgia fair and square and he won the popular vote by over five million votes. However, many reps and senators are on Drumpf's side and will not officially accept the results of the election, all on the basis of absolutely nothing. I know, the voting machines in Antrim County were the same as many other places in America. But guess what? As somebody who once lived in Antrim County, I know that a lot of people who live there are idiots and probably can't handle technology too well.

Even more embarrassing to Drumpf is his ignorance towards COVID-19. He didn't listen to scientists, he ignored the warning signs, held superspreader events and now, we're fucked. Even worse is the new strain of the virus, which has hit America might not be easily vaccinated if more and more cases are made. To make matters worse, Drumpf threw a party at Mar-a-Lago New Years Eve where he was absent and thousands of people weren't wearing masks while listening to Vanilla Ice, a Beach Boys band led by Mike Love and 80s popsters Berlin and Taylor Dayne. Many have attacked the performers for showing up at the event, especially Berlin (whose sole original member is lead singer Terri Nunn) and Dayne, who are both icons to the LGBTQ+ community.

The sad truth is that Drumpf is not a man. He's a whiny bitch and so is his minions. Look at the assclown who blew up his RV in downtown Nashville. He believed in fake conspiracy theories and that 5G phone speeds were all gonna kill us. This was why he parked his RV in front of the AT&T Tower in hopes of blowing it up. Same thing with Drumpf's supporters. They all believe that he won the 2020 election and that their ballots were eaten up by Dominion's machines, which I cry bullshit on.

The good news is that the rhetoric of the right wing in America is dying. I just read that Rush Limbaugh's affiliate in Mt. Pleasant, WMMI is dropping him and all other talkers on its schedule (Hannity, Dave Ramsey and Joe Pags to name a few) and flipping to a music-based format. The fact is that 1) Limbaugh should be dead soon and 2) the cost of carrying conservative shit talkers is rising while listenership is dying off.

Drumpf needs to be told over and over and over again: IT'S OVER. STICK A FORK IN IT BECAUSE YOU'RE DONE, ASSHOLE. He's been voted out and every intelligent American just got tired of his rhetoric. If you believe that Drumpf won, you're what's wrong in this country. Then again, a lot of the brainwashing in America started when Reagan abolished the Fairness Doctrine over 30 years ago, allowing the media to LIE to us all. Instead of a truly fair-and-balanced media, we've allowed Limbaugh, Fox "News", Infowars and OANN to spread flawed information that has put us all in danger.

After four years of Drumpf bullshit, I hope this will end the Repukes in the White House as long as I'm alive. Also, I hope that as president, Biden will reverse all the bullshit Drumpf started. It's time to truly make America great again and not let it fall under again.

Time to replace the high chair with one that's more authoritative.
