Tonight will be President Obama's farewell speech and 20,000 people are expected to be in Chicago for this historic event. Meanwhile in Washington, the freaks are coming out of the woodwork.
Today, during Jeff Sessions' confirmation hearings for attorney general, a group of people dressed in KKK outfits started to cheer him on. Sessions has been criticized for being an enemy to Civil Rights and woman's right as well as Alabama's attorney general.
In the case of Michigan's very own Betsy Devos, she's breathing a sigh of relief that she won't be grilled until next week on the 17th. She was selected to be Trump's education secretary, though she never taught a class nor ever attended public school.
Meanwhile, one major group is not happy with Trump's cabinet picks and guess who it is? The National Council of Churches! Last week, the organization released a statement where they proclaim that if Trump doesn't change his cabinet picks or his stances on the Affordable Care Act, he would be putting Americans in "greater risk". The NCG represents 38 denominations and 45 million people. Needless to say, the only religious groups supporting Trump's hate-filled rhetoric are the televangelists like Jim Bakker who all tell their minions that if they don't vote for him, they're all going to hell and their shows would be canceled.
On the other hand, I love it how he claims that Arnold Schwartzenegger is the reason why the newly-revamped Apprentice is failing in the ratings. Hey, maybe it's because THE SHOW IS STILL EXECUTIVE PRODUCED BY YOU, DUMBASS!
Look, folks. We're heading into one of the worst presidencies ever. Obama has an approval rating WAY HIGHER than Dubya in his last days in office. Trump won't "make America great again" but he'll simply return us back to the days of 43, maybe even worse.
I think I'll be wearing all black on January 20.
