For a lot of people, they wonder when the nightmare at MSU will end.

Larry Nassar is now rotting away in jail for the rest of his life while Roger Ebert-er, I mean Lou Anna Simon is out of her job as University president. Many are infuriated that many may have known of Nassar's abuse for years; even legendary MSU alumnus Magic Johnson has called for everybody who knew to be fired.

Now, MSU has named Simon's interim replacement and sadly, it's a man that has had a bigger presidential role: governor.

Yep! It's none other than John Engler.

Engler was Michigan's <sarcasm>beloved</sarcasm> governor from 1991 to 2003. Under his aegis, our state ran up a massive deficit, schools were fucked over, especially when Kalkaska schools were forced to close early in the year due to a lack of funding and he even got the nickname "Pothole Johnny" because the roads here were so bad. Oh, and let's not forget that this Repuke who promoted family values cheated on his wife with his current one. Hell, I even shared a flight with that fat bastard years ago. And yes, I avoided contact with him.

Several of Nassar's victims, including Rachael Denhollander are all pissed over Engler being chosen as MSU's new president. On Facebook, she called Engler an "insider" and that the university needs an outsider to help fix the school's problems. I say, given his record as governor, why would they allow this fat bastard in charge is beyond me.

I guess I'll be pledging allegiance to U of M now. I hope he doesn't fuck up MSU did like he did this state.
