The big, fat, Oxy-poppin' idiot's at it again.

For the past several days, the great and almighty leader of the Excellence in Broadcasting Network, Rush Limbaugh had been using his show to attack Georgetown University law student Sandra Fluke for testifying for free contraception in front of Democratic members of the House. Limbaugh lovingly called her a "slut" and even proclaimed on his show that if a woman wants free birth control, that she should tape herself "in the act" and show everybody doing so.

Needless to say, Rush's moronic tirade on birth control and Ms. Fluke has gotten many riled up to the point that many advertisers have yanked their spot from his show. So far, AOL - which owns The Huffington Post - along with Heart and Body Extract, Bonobos, Tax Resolution Services, Carbonite, Proflowers, Quicken Loans, Sleep Train, Sleep Number Bed, LegalZoom and Citrix Systems have all told Rush that they're done advertising on his three-hour hatefest. True, Rush has apologized Fluke up and down for his public stupidity, but that's not enough.

Rush's anti-feminist tirades have also cost him two affiliates: WBEC in Pittsfield, MA and KPUA Hilo, HI. KPUA's president, Chris Leonard has said on the station's website in a statement that Rush's tirades crossed the line of decency and his show had to be pulled off the air immediately. The station has replaced his show with programming from Yahoo! Sports Radio (the old One on One Sports/Sporting News Radio).

There's a push from many groups to get Rush's show off the air. There's several online petitions to get his show yanked from affiliates; one of them targets my old hometown of Traverse City MI's long-time Rush station, WTCM. So far, over 600 signatures have been collected out of their target of 750. I find it amazing that I championed for Howard Stern's radio show to be heard in northern Michigan, yet the excuse I hear from various radio folks is that his show is unsellable to advertisers and that it's too indecent to air in somewhat conservative northern Michigan. Yet, there's THREE radio station owners (Ross Biederman - WTCM, Trish MacDonald-Garber - WATT 1240 in Cadillac and Roy Henderson - WCUZ 100.1 Manistee - which simulcast on one of WLDR-FM 101.9's HD subchannels, which technically gives El Rushbo two affiliates in the Cherry Capitol) that air his filth day in and day out. Bear in mind that one of WTCM's biggest advertisers during Rush - at least 10 years ago - was Hampel's Gun Shop. You know, that place that hanged the American flag upside down the day after Obama won the election, and the man who did so, the manager was nice enough to call Obama the N-word to the town newspaper, the Record-Eagle? Classy, WTCM, just classy....

If there's anybody who should not talk shit about women's rights, it's Rush Limbaugh. He has been married four times and has no children, thank you Jesus. Plus, his hypocritical stance on illegal drugs has forever tainted his record. The fact that he called a woman whose IQ is way higher than his a slut shows how beyond stupid he is. True, his current wife is young enough to be his kid, I hope she realizes that she married a monster. Personally, it's all about his money.

Today, I plan to listen to Rush, only for the advertisers. I plan to provide a list of his advertisers and give them the Bee-otch of the Day. Anybody who promotes the hatred towards women should not deserve business. Sadly, I wouldn't be surprised if Meijer is one of Rush's biggest sponsors in the area.

Rush Limbaugh: the king of the Wimmen Haters' Club.
