I'll admit that I wasn't the greatest high schooler in the world.

Sometimes, I slept through science class because it was borderline boring. But, I still know more science than a lot of the right-winged pricks out there who don't believe in climate change or think that COVID-19 is a hoax.

And that means Ted Nugent.

Last Wednesday, the Motor City Moron took to Facebook Live to announce to whatever fans he has left that his latest concert tour has been canceled because of COVID concerns. 

After attacking the production companies for being too scared over the disease, he asked one of the dumbest questions to ever pop out of a rock star's mouth: "Why weren't we shut down for COVID 1-18?" He claimed that there was a COVID 1, 2, and so on and there were no shutdowns for those and that it's "99.8% survivable". 

In the video, he also talks about why this country didn't shut down for the AIDS epidemic or even the Spanish Flu, which we did and ultimately defeated. 

Also in the video, Nuge bitches about seeing an Alex Jones video where children are being bussed to "unknown facilities" for sex trafficking. Odd, considering that he himself is a pedophile with his very public relationship with 16-year-old Pele Massa in the 1970s. Funny how in England, the media has steered clear of pedos like Jimmy Savile and Gary Glitter. But I'll betcha that right now in America, a classic rocker will be spinning "Cat Scratch Fever", "Wango Tango" or whatever tune Uncle Ted wrote about sexually accosting his minor girlfriend at the time.

We all know that Nugent is an unrepentant right-winged asshole who moved to Texas because of his love of ex-president George W. BusHitler. He even claimed that Drumpf helped to name his newest album "Handsome Devil" because he called him that at one of his rallies. In fact, Drumpf and Buttnugget deserve each other for doing what they could to get away from going to Vietnam. One was rich, the other crapped his pants (and we all know which is which). 

Ya know, I miss going to concerts. I miss traveling and I miss walking around the mall. Simply put, I spend my weekends kicking back because I don't want to risk getting myself COVID or anybody else for that matter. True, I got my first shot of vaccine a few weeks ago, but still, with too many people in Michigan getting the disease, I don't want to risk it. Unless it's essential, I ain't going out.

I know. Musicians need to tour. Album sales and airplay aren't enough for some. However, too many assholes are politicizing COVID and it's like the scene in "Bird Box" where Sandra Bullock is trying to prevent her children from looking outside because of mysterious objects that cause people to kill themselves. While the characters are hiding in a house, one of them enters a trance and uncovers all the windows and kills a lot of the people around him. 

Look, COVID-19 won't last forever as long as we listen to science. It's sad that other countries have done a better job fighting the disease while we play Russian Roulette with our bodies daily. We have to deal with losers who don't wear masks, who don't wash their hands after they use the bathroom and so on. Sadly, I look at the packed baseball stadiums and Wrestlemania from last weekend and shake my head. So people want COVID-19 this badly?

Ted Nugent is a sick, sick asshole and needs to shut up. Maybe he should get COVID to understand the pain others have felt over this past year. Eventually, karma should and shall catch up to him.
