It's official: need an abortion in Alabama?  Fuck you.

The rich white man-led Senate in that state just passed the bill forcing those who perform abortions to 99 years in prison. This includes abortions of embryos created by rape or incest. Just this evening, governor Kay Ivey signed the bill into law.

Meanwhile in my great state of Michigan, Gov. Gretchen Whitmer announced that she will veto an anti-abortion bill that would ban abortions after the second trimester. However, the far-right-winged Right to Life of Michigan is planning to pass along a petition in hopes of gaining enough signatures to get the bill passed without the Governor's signature.

One of the anti-abortion bills was created by state senator Kim LaSata, whose district represents Berrien, Cass and St. Joseph Counties. In an interview with The Detroit Free Press LaSata claims that abortion "should be hard" and "the procedure should be painful! And you should allow God to take over! And you should deliver that baby!"

Meanwhile in my old stomping grounds of northern Michigan, state rep Larry Inman (R-Williamsburg) was indicted by a federal grand jury for trying to buy votes. He bribed a union in exchange for voting against a wage law in Michigan. He was charged with attempted extortion, bribery and lying to an FBI agent. He has denied any of the charges.

Ya see, this is the Republican party. They're against a Constitutional right that protects women and yet they have a TON of skeletons in the closet. Sorry, but they're asshole hypocrites who will protect cells and not fully-developed humans, even in cases of rape. If I was the product of a rape, thrown into an orphanage, have nobody love me and grow up alone, I would want to be aborted, too.

In the end, guess who made this Tweet today? "Abortion is a constitutional right." The man who SHOULD be president of the United States and SHOULD have been elected in 2016.
