One of the biggest challenges facing any American that went to college is debt.
With Americans wading in almost two TRILLION in debt and 40 grand per person, it's no secret that the Democrats - especially Bernie Sanders - want to eliminate it. His plan is to create a sweeping bill that would eliminate $1.5 trillion in student debt. It would eliminate the college debt of more than 46 million Americans.
When the news broke out yesterday regarding the Sanders plan, the stock price of Navient, the company formerly known as Sallie Mae fell by 42 cents. Sallie Mae was a government run entity until 2004 when it became privatized as Navient, a Delaware corporation.
The sad truth is that the Repukes want to privatize everything. Social Security, the Post Office, you name it. Here in America, it's proof that the things that are privatized here versus other countries have failed us all, especially healthcare and college loans.
You know, it's funny how a Republican got rid of slavery, but it's the modern day Repukes who brought it back through not raising the minimum wage, busting the unions and giving the wealthy tax breaks. And if you're a baby boomer wondering why your 30-something kid still lives with you, GIVE YOURSELF A FUCKING PAT ON THE BACK FOR VOTING FOR REAGAN. They have more debt than you when you graduated from school, plus they're making less money. And why are millennials NOT having children?
Look, if this country wants to move forward, we need a PROGRESSIVE in the White House. Not a Repuke who thinks that brown people are the problem or a centralist who keeps this country in neutral while they take in millions from corporations. If the Democrats repeat 2016 again by force feeding us another limo rider, damn right I'll be voting Green. The Democrats have proven that they can win an election but lose at the same time.
If you want America to move forward, the phrase "vote blue no matter who" won't work.
