Saturday night went pretty good for me.
I was at The Intersection's Elevation here in Grand Rapids, watching the EDM act Gentlemens Club perform their mixes on stage.
I was checking my phone and saw that Drumpf had a huge announcement to make at 9 a.m. Sunday morning. I was kinda thinking that he would resign. After all, Pence would have taken the presidency and pull a Gerald Ford by pardoning Drumpf.
Well, it was soon revealed that Drumpf's speech was that the leader of Isis was killed. Basically put, he wanted this to be the highlight of his weak-sauced administration, currently plagued with talks of impeachment.
Drumpf probably wanted a ticker tape parade in either D.C. or New York City with "Ding, Dong, The Witch is Dead" played on blast. He probably wanted to be considered a hero for keeping us safe, though he criticized Obama when Osama bin Laden was caught.
Well, 'taint gonna happen.
Last night in Washington, an image of Drumpf attending the Nationals/Astros World Series game appeared on the jumbotron. Drumpf was greeted with some 40,000 boos and hisses, followed by chants of "LOCK HIM UP!" In the 2016 election, Hillary Clinton won D.C. with a 90% vote. Because of the Benghazi scandal, Drumpf and his minions had a similar chant to lock her up.
Yes, Drumpf is hoping that people will worship and kiss his feet. However, when most people, even on a FOX NEWS survey want him outta there, well, that's totally bad news for 45. With all the damning evidence against him, plus how he treated the Kurds and our allies, 15 more months of his antics is way too much.
Also, SHAME on the media for not doing a good job covering Bernie Sanders. People are being turned away at the venues he shows up at and the media simply ignores the fact that he has more people showing up at his rallies over his competitors. But since Bernie wants to deregulate media giants - and deservingly so - the news outlets are simply afraid of him.
Yes, "Ding, Dong, The Witch is Dead" would be a nice song to hear... When Drumpf is thrown in prison.
