Last week, the world was shocked and horrified when it was revealed that 13 losers, all part of a militia group, planned to kidnap and murder Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer.
The assholes all planned to take the governor to Wisconsin to participate in a kangaroo court and try her for her orders for all Michiganders to wear masks. Thankfully, their moves were covered by the FBI and all 13 men are in custody.
The militia nerds were known for participating in protests at the State Capitol in Lansing and other rallies. And one of those who appeared at some of the rallies was none other than Dar Leaf, the sheriff of Barry County - a mostly-Republican County between Grand Rapids and Kalamazoo - in Michigan.
Leaf appeared at one of the rallies in Grand Rapids last year with two of the terrorists. There, he claimed that Hillary Clinton killed more people (referring to Benghazi) than the militia ever did.
Now, some residents of Barry Country are calling for Leaf's resignation, especially since he defended the militia's actions against Whitmer. Even worse, Leaf, a Republican, is running unopposed on the November ballot.
Today, a County Commission meeting was held in Hastings, attended by some 40 people. Sadly, most of them did support Leaf. Meanwhile, Leaf has simply told the media that he's not resigning and not much else.
Also earlier today, it was discovered that the same militia group tried to do something similar to Ralph Northam, the governor of Virginia. Like Whitmer, Northam is known for his strong anti-COVID orders.
With COVID cases trickling upward again and reports of cured patients getting the disease again, it's important to keep masking up. It's not politics, it's scientific truth. These militia retards do NOTHING but bitch and whine about freedoms being lost. NO, THEY'RE NOT. Thankfully here in Michigan, the Health Department will continue on with their recommendations long after Whitmer's executive orders are retired, all thanks to the State Supreme Court.
To me, Leaf looks like somebody Chris Farley would have portrayed on SNL. Nothing like a sheriff who looks like he lives in a van down by the river. I hope I'm nowhere near Barry County anytime soon. Nothing like getting busted by somebody who works for a loser who supports terrorism.
But then again, the Repukelicans have been supporting terrorism for decades.
