It's amazing that tonight's lead-off story on the NBC Nightly News hit home for me.

Twice.

The story was that the FBI has arrested a militia of 13 men who plotted to kidnap and kill Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer. They planned to storm the state capitol in Lansing and start a civil war protesting Whitmer's stay-at-home order.

The monsters have been charged with plotting terrorist activities, along with weapons and conspiracy charges. The men lived in various parts of Michigan, except for one, who lived in Delaware. They did everything from build bombs to watch her vacation home near the unincorporated Antrim County town of Kewadin, not far from where I grew up.

One of the arrests made was that of the group's leader, Kyle Fox, who ironically lived about a mile from where I work. Fox lived in the basement of The Vac Shack, a store that sold and serviced vacuums in a strip mall at the intersection of 36th and Division. The shop's owner, Brian Titus claimed that he knew Fox since he was a young boy. He knew that he was in a militia, but didn't know how serious he was with the group.

Titus told local NBC affiliate WOOD-TV that Fox was good at not mixing his militia duties and work. However, since the pandemic began, he has shown his anger towards Whitmer, especially by not wearing a mask to work. He was anti-police and anti-government and feared that America would move toward a socialistic government.

Fox lived in the Vac Shack basement with his two dogs, one being a support animal. A military veteran himself, Titus was too scared to fire him.

Meanwhile, Whitmer thanked those who kept her safe throughout the ordeal. She also attacked Drumpf for not doing enough to stop hate groups and militias for shit like this. However, COVID-19-infected Drumpf henchwoman Kayleigh McEnany released a statement stating that Whitmer's words are "sowing division" and that Drumpf condemns hate of all kinds.

I view a militia as a group of angry white men who simply think that America should go back to the bad 'ol days where blacks were kept as slaves and rich people owned the world. It's funny that some of these losers live in the middle of nowhere simply because they view all African Americans as gang members. And yet, they're the ones who tend to be more violent.

I know. Some white folks view major cities as nasty, and they thank African Americans. However, there are towns in northern Michigan where these militia turds live, and they give their communities a bad name. The fact that these cocksuckers wanted to kill our governor should make a normal person sick. I will hope and pray for Whitmer and her family for safety. May these fake-ass wannabes rot forever in prison for what they did.

Militias: and you thought that those who play Dungeons and Dragons are dorks.
