Right now, Drumpf is winning some, but thankfully losing some, too.
Yes, he's fuming somewhat over the arrest of Roger Stone (and Steve Martin's accurate portrayal of him on SNL) and the fact that the House pressured him to get the government reopened without any funding for his pet wall. Now, for the next three weeks, Drumpf is going to figure out an excuse to force the House into getting his wall funded.
Well, on Saturday morning, my mom called me, pissed off because her taxes were done and good 'ol Drumpf did her in. She'll be making $1000 less than last year on her returns. I've yet to do my taxes, and now, I'm scared AF.
Ya know, it's amazing how Drumpf thinks that his tax breaks for the wealthy are helping the economy. Instead, the middle class is going down the tubes quicker than what happened in 2008. Give a wealthy man a ton of money, and it will do nothing. Give it to somebody living paycheck to paycheck and it will boost the economy and create jobs.
Now, I hear that Howard Schultz of Starbucks fame is looking at a 2020 run for president as an independent. Oy vey. But then again, Ross Perot helped George H.W. Bush lose the 1992 election. I think maybe, JUST MAYBE, having more than two main people running for president could be a Godsend.
But still, the Dems need a real progressive running in 2020.
