5.24.18 Bee-otch of the Day: Donald Trump

BECOME AN AFFILIATE OF T-SHIRT HELL AND MAKE SOME MONEY!

Bee-otch of the Day honors are awarded Monday through Thursday, Bee-otch of the Week is awarded Friday on Chuck69.com.

Name: Donald Trump
Age: 71
Occupation: asshole
Last Seen: Washington, DC
Bee-otched For: taking a knee to America

---

Well, it's official: if you're a football player and don't stand for an old drinking song that talks about slavery before your game, you will be fined.

The National Football League and commissioner Roger Goodell announced the new policy Wednesday in response to football players who either sit or take a knee during the National Anthem. The trend started with former San Francisco 49er Colin Kaepernick, who started sitting and kneeling in response to the police brutality against African Americans. Other NFL players followed Kaepernick as a result.

The protests have indeed angered some of the NFL's most-conservative fans and it has had an effect on ratings, in which they were down 10% last year than the year before.

At least one person's happy with the new NFL rules: Drumpf.

During Thursday's Fox and Friends, the de facto president told the assholes who host the show that he's happy that the NFL made the decision. He also said that those who don't stand for the anthem "shouldn't be in the country".

When I was a kid, there was a girl I went to school with who was a Jehovah's Witness. When we stood for the Pledge of Allegiance, she didn't stand. So, if there are NFL players who are JWs, does that mean they need to stand, too?

Of course, there's a reason why Drumpf is a friend of the NFL's, and it's due to the fact that he's friends with Robert Kraft, the owner of the New England Patriots. I remembered watching him in the skybox at a game and the wind was ROYALLY fucking up his hair!

There is some good news in all this: one NFL owner, Chris Johnson of the New York Jets announced that if any of his players get fined, he will personally pay their fees. (Johnson, BTW is an heir to the Johnson and Johnson family, so he has some cash.)

While Drumpf is trashing football players, he has decided not to go to the North Korea summit. Figures. The dude probably wants to drop missiles on that nation and even go to war. But what else is new?

Remember, this is Drumpf we're talking about.

5.23.18 Bee-otch of the Day: Leslie Love

BECOME AN AFFILIATE OF T-SHIRT HELL AND MAKE SOME MONEY!

Bee-otch of the Day honors are awarded Monday through Thursday, Bee-otch of the Week is awarded Friday on Chuck69.com.

Name: Leslie Love
Age: 46
Occupation: state representative
Last Seen: Detroit, MI
Bee-otched For: showing no love for the adult entertainment industry

Great. What this country needs is another fucking politician who makes going to the strip club even tougher.

Detroit's Leslie Love (D) has introduced a bill that would force all strip club employees - dancers, management, etc. - to be licensed. She believes that such establishments need to be run more professionally.

She told the Detroit Free Press, "People have been dancing since before Jesus. Why does it have to operate in the dark?"

If Love's bill passes, strip clubs would force all dancers to be 21 and over, force employees to guidelines and fees and have all clubs meet design guidelines. Posters would also be posted in locker rooms to prevent sex trafficking.

You know, I have a friend who worked in the strip club business for many, many years and he thinks that Love's bill is pure bullshit, and I agree. The sad truth is that it's tougher to own a strip club in Michigan than it is to own a gun shop. Fuck, here in Grand Rapids, nude dancing is banned outright! It's easier to buy a gun than it is to have some smokin' hot chick show you her lady bits in this city.

Folks, even been to a strip club and notice that the performers use stage names? Well, there's a reason for that. It's because the last thing a stripper needs is some douchebag stalking her. I used to go to strip clubs regularly and I NEVER knew the real name of any of the girls or even followed them home. Sorry, but I'm an adult. Love's idiotic bill will make things dangerous for performers. Plus, there's many dancers 18-21 who need the money. Love's bill would force them to work crappy jobs to get through college. I think it's safer to show a bunch of horny men your boobs than to get splattered with fry oil.

Some politicians just Can't Understand Normal Thinking. Leslie Love is one of them.

5.22.18 Bee-otches of the Day: NRA

Bee-otch of the Day honors are awarded Monday through Thursday, Bee-otch of the Week is awarded Friday on Chuck69.com.

-------

Name: National Rifle Association
Age: 147
Occupation: gun nuts
Last Seen: Fairfax, VA
Bee-otched For: another unneeded tragedy

Another week, another school shooting.

Last Friday, a troubled 17-year-old boy opened fire at his classmates at Santa Fe High School in Santa Fe, TX, pop. 12,000. Ten people - nine students and a teacher - were shot to death by this teen, who was obsessed with guns. The boy's father was a hardcore fan of Fox News Channel and sympathized with Dana Loesch, the controversial talk radio host and NRA advocate.

Sadly, the story was almost quickly broomed under the rug by the media because it's more important to them that some American woman married a prince. Like many, I chose to sleep during the big wedding, and guess what? The sun came up at 6:12 a.m. and set at 9:06 p.m. Sadly, I was awaken by birds chirping, but that's life. Thankfully, NBC Nightly News profiled some of the families affected by the gunman.

Like many high schools, Santa Fe High participated in the #NotOneMore movement a few weeks ago, influenced by another horrific mass shooting at Parkland High in Florida. School shootings seem to go in a cycle: the shooting happens, the people react and then it simmers down. Then, another shooting happens and so on. All the NRA cares about is that the controversy surrounding the shooting will die down so they can once again be the good guys. Hell, they love it when a school has a cop inside because as Wayne LaPierre once said, "it takes a good guy with a gun to stop a bad guy with a gun". OK, so did Santa Fe High have a cop inside? How about schools in smaller towns in the US?

The sad truth is that we have a de facto president that cares more about the NRA than protecting our children. Hell, NBC Nightly News tonight showed Drumpf at an NRA rally during a news story about his troubled meeting with Kim Jong Un. Of course, the NRA would rather simply turn our schools into prisons where teachers are taught to shoot people, kids have to enter through a metal detector and a police officer is present at all times. Of course, banning assault weapons seems to be a more sensible solution. After all, it works in other nations, so why not us? Simple: it's the same reason why we're one of the last nations on Earth that doesn't have free healthcare or free college for all.

Thanks to the NRA, we can't have nice things.

5.21.18 Hero of the Day: my grandmother

Bee-otch of the Day honors are awarded Monday through Thursday, Bee-otch of the Week is awarded Friday on Chuck69.com.

-------
A SPECIAL HERO OF THE DAY!

Name: my grandmother
Age: was 89
Occupation: former special ed teacher
Last Seen: in the Great Beyond, dancing with my grandfather
Awarded For: being the best grandmother anybody could ever have

---

On Friday at exactly noon, one of the greatest women who ever lived on this Earth left us.

This was a woman who overcame so much in life to become a great educator and most importantly, a better wife, mother and grandmother.

To me, she was simply Grandma.

My Grandma was born in Howard City, MI just before the start of the Great Depression. She was the third of four kids with a brother ten years older than her, a sister five years older than her and another sister five years younger than her. Her mother was a music teacher while her father was the town mailman.

When Grandma was young, she contracted polio. For the rest of her life, she had difficulty walking, but it didn't stop her. While attending Eastern Michigan University, her roommate introduced her to her brother, a strapping young man whom she ended up marrying.

That man, obviously, was my grandfather. The two were married for 49 years until his death from cancer in 2001.

Together, my grandparents had seven children, with my father being the first. Like my great-grandparents, my paternal grandparents had almost the same occupations. My grandfather was a mailman and Grandma was a schoolteacher like her mom, though she taught special ed. They all lived in a three-story ranch-style home in Troy, just outside Detroit where they raised dogs, cats and even a horse.

In the mid-80s, my grandparents retired and my father coaxed them into moving to northern Michigan. They moved into another three-story home that looked like it was from the 70s, complete with orange countertops and shag carpeting. It was a beautiful house with a nice, spacious living room, a steel spiral staircase that led to the upper floor and a downstairs game room with a pool table. All my family from downstate would come up to visit and while Grandpa golfed, my Grandma took me to the swimming pool at Grand Traverse Resort in her awesome Buick Skylark. I also remember all the shopping trips to Tom's Food Market in Acme, her favorite place to shop. I would remember all of their brothers and sisters visiting them as well. Ah, the memories of my Grandma and my great-aunt in the front seat listening to an old Teresa Brewer tape, singing "Music! Music! Music!" Gag.

It was tragic when they announced in 1998 that they were moving to Florida. My Grandpa battled dizzy spells for years, and when they vacationed down there, they disappeared. Around that time, I got my WebTV so we were able to email each other back and forth.

In 2000, my grandparents and an uncle of mine bought a trailer and it became their summer home. However, my Grandpa got cancer and died in 2001. Eventually, Grandma sold their home in Florida and moved back to Detroit full-time, mainly in an active senior residence. For us, Grandma was the centerpiece of the family and we all loved coming over to see her.

During the 2000s when it seemed that everybody in our family was struggling financially thanks to Dubya's policies, Grandma was nice enough to give us money when we needed it. When gas prices were over $4 per gallon, she gave us $100 for coming over to see her. When I collapsed at Chicago O'Hare Airport in 2006, she paid my medical bills. When a cousin of mine needed money to attend bartending school, she gave him the money.

Sadly, dementia caught up with her. One time, she called me her "nephew" even though I was her grandson. We all knew that eventually, assisted living would be in her future. And not long ago, it became reality.

I saw Grandma for the final time a few weeks ago in a hospital near Detroit. By then, she was like a roller coaster. Many days, she would be sleeping and some days, she would be awake, but not for long. When I saw her, she was awake, but didn't talk at all. She was weak and was fighting an infection, so we all had to wear aprons. My Dad and I both said our goodbyes. I was the one who walked out last. It was then I said, "goodbye, Grandma".

A week later, one of my cousins came to visit and she was wide awake, singing and talking. In a way, I felt like he should have been the one cousin saying goodbye to Grandma since both my grandparents seemed to be the ones raising him. His dad, their son was away working while his mom was working two jobs.

Two weeks ago, Grandma was placed in Hospice and her feeding tube was removed. When she died on Friday, my oldest aunt was watching over her as she passed. After work on Friday, I saw that my dad had left me a message. I called him and he told me the news.

When Grandma died, I didn't necessarily shed any tears. I knew that her decades of pain and suffering from polio had ended. Her later years were spent on a Rascal scooter going from point A to B. But now in the afterlife, she can move freely as she's reunited with Grandpa and all of the people in our family we've lost over the years, some too soon.

Sadly, at the same time all this is going on, my middle aunt has been stricken with brain cancer and is not doing good at all. She sleeps about 90% of the time and we think that she'll be joining Grandma real soon. When this happens, we're going to have a double burial.

But the good news is that I've had many great memories of all the great people in my life who have all left us. All four of my grandparents are all gone, but I've had wonderful memories of all of them. It's one milestone of my life that has passed, but it's time to create new ones.

The best thing of all this was that unlike my other three grandparents, I was able to say goodbye to my Grandma. However, it does sicken me that I'll be 37 this Saturday and I'm still single and childless. If I do have a child, my Grandma will never see the beginning of the sixth generation of my family. But then again, nothing's perfect.

Thanks, Grandma. Say hi to Grandpa for me.

Many of us guys hate the putrid sound of an alarm clock in the morning.

For me, I have the unfortunate mispleasure of waking up at 4:30 a.m. and being out of the house by 5:40. During this time, there's hardly anything on TV but local morning news. Here in Grand Rapids, the best source for morning news is WOOD-TV 8's Daybreak and sadly, even they're marginally watchable at times.

The show is hosted by a yenta, Teresa Weakly and the however decent Casey Jones (and I wonder if that's his real name). But then, there's Terri the Whor-er, DeBoer who is an old and irritating weathergirl who needs to retire.

Sadly, after Daybreak is an even worse show, Today since WOOD has been an NBC affiliate for almost 70 years. Sadly, in recent years, that show has eroded to being barely watchable. You've got two yentas hosting the first two hours, and right-winged cunt hosting the 9 a.m. hour and don't even get me started on Kathie Lee and Hoda.

For decades, it's been a misconception that only women watch daytime TV. Station programmers are stuck in the 1960s, thinking that women stay home while their husbands work. Hell, I tried living that life once and in this day and age, it doesn't work from a financial standpoint. Of course, it was one huge reason why I kicked her ass out of my house. But, let's face it: there's guys who work second or third shift and they don't want to wake up to five old bitches sitting around a desk like hens in a hen house.

So, why in the fuck is ESPN alienating their viewers for yet another unneeded show for yentas?

Yep, I said it correctly. ESPN now airs a show in the morning that nobody seems to like. It's called Get Up and it's hosted by Jalen Rose, Michelle Beadle and former Mike and Mike co-host Mike Greenberg. Sadly, this is the reason why Mike and Mike split up: it's so Greenberg can do a TV show while the other Mike, Golic stayed with ESPN Radio with Trey Wingo. Anyway, the show's ratings are beyond horrid and critics are trashing the show left and right, comparing it to the other morning chick-chat shows.

Not long ago, I had a discussion with an owner of an ESPN radio station and he told me that with the bullshit going down in Bristol, he might be dumping it. He's unhappy with the constant schedule changes, plus the fact that it's expensive to carry. Hell, I don't think there's a single station in Detroit that carries ESPN Radio anymore. Tragically, the TV side's getting to be not much different.

Look, guys have long looked to ESPN as an alternative to the chick shit that dominates cable and regular TV. During the daytime, there's hardly any good shows us guys can enjoy outside of game shows like The Price is Right and Jerry Springer. I don't want Rachael Ray making me a sloppy joe, I don't want to see Tinker Bell Ryan Seacrest and Kelly Ripa bragging about some shitty reality show and I sure as hell don't want Ellen DeGeneres doing ditto. Even more, I don't want the same shit on ESPN. Whomever thought up this abortion should have been fired. (Oh, wait, he's already gone (and I apologize for using Fox News as a source.)

But there is a silver lining in all this: Get Up is at least a better sports show than a certain weekday radio show here in Grand Rapids that airs from 3-6 p.m. on a certain station whose frequency is between 107.2 and 107.4.

-------

Name: National Rifle Association
Age: 146
Occupation: right-winged gun nuts
Last Seen: Fairfax, VA
Bee-otched For: wanting all schools to be like Dixon

---

It was a national tragedy that was prevented.

In Dixon, IL, a 19-year-old man opened fire near the gym while seniors were rehearsing their graduation. However, the school's police officer, Mark Dallas chased him out of the building and shot him several times. The suspect is hospitalized and is expected to live. Dallas has been hailed as a hero for saving the lives of multiple students.

Now, the NRA's probably telling the kids of recent mass shootings like the one in Parkland, FL that if the school has a properly-trained officer on board, they can prevent mass shootings like Dallas did. However, schools like the one in Dixon, pop. 15,000, aren't so lucky.

Folks, my high school in Michigan was in a town of 1,600 - about 10 times smaller than Dixon - and had 400 students. The police department was on the other side of town and it's a five-minute drive from the station to the school. Some schools are even smaller here in Michigan and aren't very close to a reasonable police department.

Look, not all schools can afford police officers and I'm sure not all teachers want to carry guns. We need to keep automatic guns away from people who will use them to hurt others. We can't trust that a good man with a gun can get rid of a bad man with a gun.

Oh, and what the deal with the NRA hiring Ollie North as their president? Nothing like an asshole who aides terrorists running a so-called-pro Second Amendment organization.

The NRA: because in their minds, turning schools into prisons is what's best for kids.

Last Seen: probably golfing
Bee-otched For: not apologizing for poor sportsmanship

---

When people usually think about the presidency of the United States of America, they think about class, not crass.

But sadly, this is Drumpf we're thinking about.

Last week, a staffer of the worst president since Dubya, Kelly Sadler was nice enough to comment on ailing Arizona senator John McCain, who is battling brain cancer. The cunt's statement was something like "he's dying anyway, so his opinion doesn't count".

Sadler is a special assistant to Drumpf's Office of Communications and is also a blogger. She also writes for the Washington Times, the ultra-right-winged paper started and owned by a religious cult.

The funny thing is that many Republicans in office are calling Drumpf for an apology. However, he's standing by Sadler's fucked-up comments. It's no secret that Drumpf and McCain, 81, have bad blood against each other, especially after McCain voted against repealing Obamacare.

I think the saddest part of all this is the fact that my 60-year-old aunt is battling brain cancer herself. She's getting more and more weak by the day and we think she'll be gone any day now. Sadly, there's some in my family who support Drumpf and his antics. Even worse, they defend it. Sen. McCain is going through the same pain and torture that my aunt's cancer is giving her. Even though McCain and I don't see eye-to-eye on politics, I don't wish cancer on people like him. Unlike Drumpf, McCain fought for our country and it's a fucking shame that Drumpf's people act like this towards him.

Another reason to add to the list as to why I can't wait til November.

5.14.18 Hero of the Day: Margot Kidder

BECOME AN AFFILIATE OF T-SHIRT HELL AND MAKE SOME MONEY!

Bee-otch of the Day honors are awarded Monday through Thursday, Bee-otch of the Week is awarded Friday on Chuck69.com.

-------
A SPECIAL HERO OF THE DAY!

Name: Margot Kidder
Age: was 69
Occupation: actress
Last Seen: flying with Superman
Awarded For: being a great actress and a true American patriot

---

Tonight, I think I see Superman and Lois Lane flying together in the heavens.

Margaret Ruth Kidder grew up way up in Yellowknife, Canada in the Northwest Territories, pop. around 2,500 when she was born (now it's almost 10 times that). Her father was from New Mexico and was an engineer and a conservative Republican. However, her mom, an English teacher was Canadian. Growing up in remote towns like Yellowknife, she never saw movies. However, when she was 12, her mom took her to New York where they saw "Bye Bye Birdie". Kidder knew then that she wanted to be an actress.

Her first movie role was in the short 1969 Canadian film "The Best Damn Fiddler from Calabogie to Kaladar". She moved to Los Angeles and started getting mainly TV roles, but found success in films such as "Black Christmas" and "The Great Waldo Pepper". However, her breakthrough role was as Lois Lane in the 1978 film "Superman" with the late, great Christopher Reeve. She also appeared with Reeve in the next three Superman films as well. She also starred in the 1979 classic "Apocalypse Now" and still had plenty of television work, even replacing Whoopi Goldberg as Gaia on Captain Planet and the Planeteers.
Kidder, sadly was also candid with her mental issues. She battled bipolar disorder and went bankrupt due to an auto accident in 1990 that left her partially paralyzed. In 1996, her laptop contracted a virus, erasing the autobiography that she was working on for three years. She entered a manic state because of this and ended up in a mental hospital after being found in a man's backyard. It was considered one of the most-bizarre celebrity meltdowns in history. However, thanks to alternative medication, Kidder bounced back, appearing in mainly indie films and even winning an Emmy for her role on the kids series R. L. Stine's The Haunting Hour: The Series in 2015.

One reason that I admire Kidder is the fact that she was a Bernie Sanders supporter and voiced her disgust of the Democratic Party's flaws. She became a US citizen in 2005 simply because she wanted Americans to have the same thoughts and ideas that have been successful in other nations around the world for decades. And why we don't have them here is beyond anybody's guess.

It's a shame that both Kidder and Christopher Reeve left us too damn young. I lauded Reeve for his approval of embryonic stem cell research, especially after the horse riding accident that left him paralyzed and eventually dead. The two remained good friends until Reeve's death in 2004.

But in reality, Margot Kidder could have easily been a Superwoman, too.

5.10.18 Bee-otch of the Day: WYPV

BECOME AN AFFILIATE OF T-SHIRT HELL AND MAKE SOME MONEY!

Bee-otch of the Day honors are awarded Monday through Thursday, Bee-otch of the Week is awarded Friday on Chuck69.com.

-------

Name: WYPV
Age: 7
Occupation: right-winged talk station
Last Seen: Petoskey, MI
Bee-otched For: becoming homeless

One of the worst mistakes in northern Michigan radio history has apparently gone bye-bye.

WYPV 94.5 Mackinaw City/Petoskey is now simulcasting WJML 1110 in Petoskey. No word on if the station has been sold or is being run under a local marketing agreement. WYPV had been airing Mark Levin and Michael "Savage" Wiener plus the Ann Arbor-based Thayrone. The station also aired a daily program called Your Defending Fathers co-hosted by station owners Brian Sommerfield - a tax accountant from Petoskey - and "Trucker Randy" Bishop, who is a chairman for the Antrim County Republican Party. Funny, since 94.5's signal is mostly non-existent throughout most of the county.

Oddly enough, WJML already airs some of WYPV's shows, including Wiener and statewide syndicated Steve Gruber. WJML is owned by former Grand Rapids native John Yob, a GOP strategist who now lives on the Virgin Islands and had the shit kicked out of him by his wife. Recently, Yob purchased WWMN 106.3 near Traverse City, which had been airing an adult alternative format as The Mitten (the station is still carried on WMTE 101.5 Manistee, which has virtually no signal in Traverse City). The station is now simulcasting WJML, which is northern Michigan's home for the aforementioned Wiener and Gruber, plus Laura Ingraham, Chris Plante, and Dave Ramsey.

Along with 1110, 106.3 and 94.5, WJML also airs on WJNL 1210 Kingsley/Traverse City and a translator on 101.1 in Traverse City.

It's nice that northern Michigan is now one less conservative voice, but it's sad that WYPV - whose call letters stood for "We're Your Patriot Voice" - had to exist in the first place. In the few times I've listened to the station, I've heard not many local commercials. One ad was for a Mexican restaurant Sommerfield owns and another was for an opportunity to own a Hardware Hank franchise. When I think of WYPV's listeners, I think about the Militia rednecks who live in the not-so-wealthy areas in the Straits region. Hell, it wouldn't surprise me if the old WSRT 106.7 "You FM" (now an ESPN station) had better ratings than WYPV. At least You FM had better programming, like Stephanie Miller.

However, I've read a Facebook post from Trucker Randy that he's in talks with 106.3 WWMK to at least move Your Defending Fathers over there. Ironically, it was WYPV's original home before being traded for 94.5 Mackinaw City and 93.9 Mio (the latter being sold to a religious broadcaster).

It wouldn't shock me if WYPV failed to make a profit in the seven years they were on the air. Most conservative talk radio listeners are senior citizens and living on fixed incomes. In the days when Arbitron published the ratings for ALL radio stations up north, I remembered that ONLY WTCM 580 had ratings. WMKT 1270 and WJML didn't even have a one share. I can't stand the logic as to why northern Michigan needs more stations spewing right-winged hate. Of course, I would say get a good progressive talker up north like WWKK 750 used to be, but now there's few decent syndicated shows out there. There's Stephanie Miller and Thom Hartman, but that's it.

No wonder why corporate radio's bankrupt and Sirius and Pandora are rocking the stock market.

Yesterday, people in several states went to the polls to vote in primaries, or in one Michigan town's case, whether or not their racist, homophobic mayor still had a job.

In Kalkaska, a village near Traverse City of 2,000 souls, the town has voted out its controversial mayor Jeff Seiting. The new mayor is Harley Wales, a 45-year-old fitness coach. Seiting, 56, was targeted for making racist and homophobic posts on Facebook and made headlines when he posted disgusting signs on the building he owns in downtown Kalkaska that once housed a hotel in the early 20th century. His signs have caused near-riots and split apart this small town. Now with Wales on board, he could put this town back into shape (no pun intended).

Another race I was watching was that of Don Blankenship, who was running for senate in West Virginia. He spent a year in prison because his mine exploded, killing 29 people in 2010. Up until Election Day, he was airing in weird-ass commercials where he was calling senate majority leader Yertle the Tur - er, Mitch McConnell "Cocaine Mitch" and using racial slurs like "Chinapeople" and "swamp people". Well, that strategy sure as hell didn't work. He lost the primary to attorney general Patrick Morrisey, who will go up against Joe Manchin this Fall.

You know, it's sad when a jerk who fucks over people run for public office. It's like Meg Whitman after she ran down HP or Rich Iott when he screwed over Food Town in Toledo or in our state's case, the Stuffed Turd known as pRick Snyder. Why those types of assholes want that much power is beyond me. Oh, I know! It's all about the money!

Look at the world of retail: Sears and Kmart are rapidly closing stores, Toys 'R Us is bankrupt and closing down, The Bon-Ton is closing, which includes Carson's, Younker's, The Boston Stores and others and so on. Here in Grand Rapids, we have a mall, Woodland that's going under a $100 million renovation even though they just lost Sears and just recently, GAP. With their new wing opening a year from this Fall, I wonder how many more stores the mall will lose beforehand. Between my last visit last Sunday and earlier this year, the mall has lost a few stores here and there, albeit mostly due to those stores' financial woes. The funny thing is that I know a few tax pros who all have told me that Drumpf's tax plan will royally fuck over the middle class. When Woodland's Von Maur wing opens, I wonder if people will *actually* have money to spend at the store?

The point is, I hate the Dems for what they did to Bernie, but I still hate the Repukes even more. I wonder what 2020 will look like. If the assholes who voted for Drumpf realize that we're on a collision course into the pit of doom like in 2008, well, God help us all. Drumpf got the racists who all think that Mexicans are the enemy and not the rich fuckers who are all against giving people a living wage. Wait and see.

But at least some of the worst of the worst will be soon disappearing.

Yesterday, I was talking about Malaria, er- Melania Drumpf's "Be Best" initiative in which she's targeting bullying. Now if she could get the message to her husband...

When I think about "Be Best", which sounds like a shitty song you'd hear in a Disney movie, I think about a similar initiative right here in Grand Rapids.

A few years ago, I remember seeing Grand Rapids mayor in ads for the "Be Nice" initiative, which is supposed to promote mental health here in west Michigan. The funny thing is that this is the same fake-ass ho who helped the old skank known as Judy Rose get nude dancing banned in Grand Rapids.

In 2006, when the city commission was looking into voting for the initiative, my dear friend and Southpaws host Darren Gibson was a manager at Parkway Tropics. PT was a topless club during the week and male dancers on Saturday nights. Gibson's boss personally invited Bliss - then a city commissioner - over to his club and she already made her decision. She voted for the law, which turned all of the city's strip joints into bikini clubs. GR used to have several strip clubs; today, there's only two left: Sensations and Parkway. Today, Muskegon's Odyssey is the sole full-nude club in west Michigan (and BTW, Muskegon is a VERY shitty town).

You see, I think strip clubs are great for mental health, especially if you're between relationships or if you seem to be down in the dumps in terms of not being able to get a date. I think it's sad that in some cases, it's easier to buy a gun than to find a girl in this town and you have Ms. Bliss to thank. So sad that a Democrat woman - who should fight for woman's rights - is kissing Devos ass instead. Because she can't "be nice", the prostitution rate in this town has skyrocketed. I'll betcha that many of those bikini dancers don't make much money, so when the club closes, they're outside, begging for a ride home.

When a fake female is running the show, they Can't Understand Normal Thinking.

Last weekend, I was watching an awards ceremony on TV that celebrated the best in movies.

And no, it ain't the Oscars.

It was the 35th AVN Awards, which aired on Showtime 2. The ceremony was aired in January, but was repeated on Showtime 2 last weekend. Anyway, one of the speakers at the event, held at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas was Kevin Moore, the widower of August Ames, who took her own life just before Christmas last year.

Ames, 23 was molested by her grandfather as a little girl. Because her parents didn't believe her, she was sent to a group home as a teen. She worked odd jobs until when she was 19 when she starred in her first adult picture.

In her short four-year career, Ames starred in nearly 300 movies and was nominated for several AVN Awards. However, her life started to crumble all because of a tweet.

In December, Ames - nee Mercedes Grabowski - tweeted that she asked her producers to not let her perform sex scenes with men who have had sex on camera with other men. The reason why was in part due to bi and gay men being more at risk of having HIV or AIDS. Many criticized Ames for being homophobic, which pushed her in a downward spiral. A day later, Ames was found 20 miles from her home in California, dead from hanging herself.

At the ceremony, Moore - a porn producer - told the audience that women are the backbone of the porn business and we needed to respect them and respect what they want to do with their bodies. Needless to say, what Moore said was probably a million times more meaningful than many speeches ever said at other award ceremonies.

Sadly, bullying is a lot easier in front of a computer or any other gadget that transmits over the World Wide Web than in person. Trust me, I've been a victim of cyberbullying myself over shit that I've said 15 years ago that somehow is still floating on the web. But I've learned that the only way to avoid these assholes is to simply walk away from the matter and let karma hit them hard on the ass. Trust me. There was a guy who harassed me years ago on a message board and eventually, karma hit him hard when his wife left him and the little businesses that he started all failed. At last check, he was now living in a trailer park. Sucks to be him.

The funny thing about cyberbullying is that the person who is supposedly trying to curb it has a husband who sits on the shitter at three in the morning doing everything she acts like she's against.

Today, Melania Trump was on the White House lawn talking about the White House's "Be Best" initiative, which is supposed to teach children that cyberbullying is not cool. And guess who was looking her on? Why, it was Drumpf himself!

Of course, another pillar of the Be Best initiative was curbing opioid abuse. Legalize pot, problem solved.

You know, what the Drumpfs are doing is nothing more than being a bunch of fucking hypocrites. This is a fake president who participated in the National Day of Prayer though he's banged a porn star while married to Melania, mind you. A schmuck who was once a frequent guest on Stern and now he's bowing to the same assholes who tried to cancel his radio show. Talk about steady leadership... NOT.

But the good news in all this is that like Stormy Daniels said on SNL last weekend, a storm's coming through.
