5.3.11 Bee-otch of the Day: George W. Bush

Name: George W. Bush
Age: 64
Occupation: former oil executive
Last Seen: Texas
Bee-otched For: not doing much

I knew it, I knew it, I knew it. Obama caught Osama, not Bush.

When the attacks on 9/11 happened, president Bush told the nation that finding Osama would be his top priority. Then we ended up in Iraq and got rid of Saddam Hussein, who was pretty much the wrong guy to smoke out of his hole.

Eight years passed, and all Bush did was bankrupt this nation. Anniversaries of 9/11 came and we all asked the same question, "where's Osama?" Even worse, Bush told a press corps that looking for Osama wasn't his top priority.

Yes, keeping taxes low for the wealthy and bankrupting the nation by throwing us into a vat of fear was Bush's prerogative. He left office, leaving Obama with all of his messes. But guess what? Just two years and a few months into his first term, Obama has proven a major point: he was for catching Osama, dead or alive. He wanted to bring America back to pre-9/11 levels, and even with a bunch of Republican nudniks running the House, he means business.

While Donald Trump and his right-winged kin throw mud at the president, he was hard at work collecting intelligence on the whereabouts of Osama. Our troops got into a fire fight with the Al Quida leader and we won. Osama's dead, a perfect punishment for killing 3,000 innocent souls that fateful day. Yes, even Bush thanked Obama for doing something that he couldn't even do.

You see, yes, Obama's made his mistakes, but goddammit, he's a trillion times better leader than Bush ever was. Hell, I was contemplating giving Obama the Bee-otch of the Day a few weeks ago because his administration reportedly wants the FCC to get tougher on indecency. But, now's not the time. Obama's proven that he's the leader America needs, and not somebody who threw us back into the 1920's like Bush did. True, killing Osama won't end terrorism; hell, there's still Nazis walking around the planet.
But, we're one BIG step closer.
