Another day, another mass shooting.

This time, it was in San Bernadino, CA where at least 14 people were killed outside of a social services center. Two of the suspects are dead and scores more are now injured. It's unclear what started the ambush or if it was terrorism.

But one thing is for sure: we need tougher gun laws.

The problem is that people are paranoid. On Black Friday, gun sales were pretty high. The question is, is that how many of those guns purchased will end up in the wrong hands? How many of those guns will start a school shooting or workplace violence? I shudder to think.

Of course, banning guns is not the answer. It will only create a black market and people will get more psychotic. Look at Prohibition: people would drink what they thought was alcohol at the local speakeasy and ended up getting poisoned to death. So, alcohol was legalized again. Problem solved.

Sadly, I don't totally think that there's an easy way to stop the gun madness in America. We could require sanity checks for gun purchases to make sure that people who have mental problems could buy a gun. But thanks to the Repukes running the government, it's doubtful. I think it's our fault for not voting Democrat this past election, allowing the loonies to come out of the woodwork to kill people for no reason.

Until the next Election Day, the hits will keep on coming, I'm afraid.
