America, you get what you've voted for.
It's official: The House of Representatives have made an official vote to repeal the health care overhaul created by President Obama. Last night, the House passed the bill, 245-189 with all members of the GOP voting to repeal the bill along with three Democrat-er, hypocrites.
Now, the GOP-lead house wants to create their own health care bill, since they claim that Obama's bill would raise taxes on the wealthy and kill-er, I mean destroy jobs. Under the Republican plan, there would be limits to what people could get in malpractice suits, 30 million Americans would be without health care plus insurance companies could deny people coverage because of so-called "pre-existing conditions". Now, the House will work with the major committees to work out their plan for health care.
But, the good news is that the Senate's still run by the Democrats. As a matter of fact, Sen. Harry Reid has already told the media that the bill may not even see the light of day in the Senate.
Under the Obama health care plan, 30 million uninsured Americans will have insurance by 2019. Plus, people who are in the Medicare donut hole won't have to spilt their prescriptions in half just to afford them.
Folks, I just can't understand the GOP. Ever wonder why you don't see many people from Canada or England here in America? IT'S BECAUSE THEY HAVE BETTER HEALTH CARE THAN WE DO. Here in America, the health insurance companies can rob you blind because of excuses. If you get sick in America, you're in deep shit.
By the way things are looking, Obama's getting a second term as-is. I think Americans want a president who can work with the common man instead of Bush who made things worse for the average person. The GOP may own the House, but still, most of their policies will be thrown under the bus.
Nice try, GOP, but you lose.
