Only about a month more of this madness.
Last week here in Grand Rapids, those visiting FartPrize were shocked to see Donald Trump visiting our city, laying flowers at the grave of former president Gerald and first lady Betty Ford. Seeing Trump in town was a morale boost for some, but a sad reminder that Trump - like the Devos family that owns FartPrize - is a right winged, bigoted moron.
Every time I see Trump on TV, he's talking about Hillary and the fact that she was sick. Virtually nothing that comes out of his mouth is regarding fixing the country or boosting the economy.
Now, it's all about his taxes. Apparently, Donald hasn't paid any in years and for some reason, that's OK for him since he's worth $10 billion. That's money that's not going to help people in need or the police.
What's more embarrassing for Donald is the fact that many of his fellow Republicans don't support him. Look at George H.W. and Barbara Bush; they're supporting Hillary. Even The Detroit News, a longtime Republican stronghold is endorsing Libertarian Gary Johnson for president.
Here in Grand Rapids, several for-profit schools like ITT Tech have all closed. Same thing with Trump University. So, why isn't he rotting in a jail cell. Oh, I know! HE'S RICH, BITCH!
Look, I endorsed Bernie, but he didn't win. Personally, even though I don't care for Hillary, she's better than Donald. I like Jill Stein, but I don't know if I can get behind a candidate with only 4% of the vote, plus the fact that in 2000, many of Al Gore's dissenters voted for Ralph Nader. Look at what happened: Eight years of lies and 7,000 Americans dying over oil. If Stein had more fans, maybe, maybe, maybe I could stand behind her.
But if Trump wins, eh, we'll have Four years of Alec Baldwin portraying him on SNL.
