Sorry for the lack of Bee-otches this week, folks. Girlfriends and trips to Detroit do that.
Sadly, another shooting has happened in our nation's schools. This time, it was in Oregon when a boy opened fire on a classmate, killing him. A fellow teacher was injured in the melee. So far, police aren't releasing many details, except that they know who the murderer was, but are not releasing his name at the moment.
After the shooting, President Obama talked about the school shooting, claiming that it's the most-haunting thing about his presidency. "No other advanced country puts up with this," he said during a briefing yesterday. "We're the only developed nation where this happens."
Sadly, Obama's right. In the past 15 years, names such as Columbine and Sandy Hook became household names for all the wrong reasons. Kids who were bullied all their school lives couldn't handle the pressure anymore so they take their frustrations out on others with a Sig Sauer or a Glock or both and others. It's pathetic when there's people who can't get their lives straightened so they take it out on others.
To make things worse, the Republicans don't care. They cry that the real problem stems from video games like Grand Theft Auto and Call of Duty, even though those games are readily available in other nations whose gun crimes are nowhere near that of America's.
The truth is, the real problem here are the goddamned Repukes who will do anything to make sure boobs are blurred on TV but hey! guns are OK. I think the problem stems from the fact that violence is a part of the American way and as long as uneducated morons elect people with an (R) after their name, no problem. The truth is, people vote Republican only because they hate Obama and they hate blacks. Yet, the reason why America has high unemployment, high taxes for the middle class and high murder rates is because of the Republicans and the wealthy ass motherfuckers who support them.
I hope that 2014 will be the end of the Republicans once and for all. It's time to teach them that we need to work together to toughen gun laws and to help those with mental issues instead of having them open fire on innocent people.
But until then, it'll happen again and again.
