Not long ago, I watched an episode of Fat Albert and the Cosby Kids where Albert and the gang get scared straight after they were caught riding in a stolen car.
The kids were exposed to a jail where there were creeps and weirdos everywhere. It was dark, depressing and (to the irk of Mr. Cosby) had lots of profanity.
Amazingly, Cosby himself could end up in one of those prisons soon.
A sworn affidavit was released Monday revealing that Cosby - under oath - testified that he did get prescriptions for Quaaludes to give to women before having sex with them. To date, over 30 women have stepped forward to proclaim that the beloved comedian shoved his Jell-o Pudding Pop in them sans consent.
Now, many are pushing for the justice system to do their role and to put Cosby to justice. Many of the accusations date back as far as when Cosby's career took off in the 1960s. Over time, the clean comic known for his family-friendly humor had been well-known for his sexcapades behind peoples' backs, and it became the worst-kept secret in comedy.
I think it's time for Cosby to come clean and tell the truth. He can hide behind lawyers all he wants, but the truth is, he's a two-faced scumbag asshole who needs to see steel.
I know, Cosby's a positive role model and so was Jared from the Subway commercials and even he's being investigated for child porn. Just because the schmuck who cries "don't do this" seems to be a good guy doesn't mean that he is. People in Grand Rapids loved WCSG morning jock John Balyo for years, but when he got busted for being caught with two underage boys and got slammed with a 40-year jail sentence, people thought of him much differently.
It's only a matter of time when 'Ol Bill will see the ink disappear from his Picture Pages pen.
