Bee-otch of the Day honors are awarded Monday through Thursday, Bee-otch of the Week is awarded Friday on

Name: The National Rifle Association
Age: 146
Occupation: gun nuts
Last Seen: Fairfax, VA
Bee-otched For: another day, another mass shooting

This past Sunday proved that your local church isn't the safest place in the world.

As we all know by now, a 26-year-old man, Devin Kelley walked into the First Baptist Church in tiny Sutherland Springs, TX and opened fire, killing 26 people. The dead ranged from only 18 months old all the way up to 77 years old. The dead included eight members of one family and the daughter of the pastor, who was out of town for the day.

Kelley was a man with a troubled past. He was dishonorably discharged from the Air Force for assaulting his wife and young stepson. Although he could not own any guns, he had several in his possession, including a Ruger AR-556 and a few handguns. his former in-laws attended First Baptist, though they were not there that day. After shooting up First Baptist, Kelley jumped into his car while two Good Samaritans chased him down until he crashed his car. Kelley then pulled out a gun and committed suicide.

Not long after the shootings, Drumpf, currently in Japan proclaimed that the shooter's mental health was the bigger issue and not guns. OK, so how in the HELL did he get a gun in the first place?

When a teenage outcast shot up Sandy Hook, nothing was done. When a gay nightclub in Orlando was shot up last year, nothing was done. When 58 people were killed at a country music concert in Las Vegas several weeks ago, nothing was done. Now, we have the worst-ever shooting in Texas history and the worst-ever shooting in a house of worship. And as long as the NRA keeps buying our politicians, nothing will be done.

The point is, this is why we need to get the Repukes out of office. We're allowing shit like this to happen all the time and unless something happens, we'll still have mass shootings everywhere.

In a way, I agree with Drumpf that we need to work on mental care in this country. But how about the gun nuts who think that they need to own an AK-47 or a bump stock like the guns used to mow down over 500 people in Vegas? The only way we can stop all this is to toughen gun laws and ban the sale of all guns that are above a hunting rifle.

At this point, thoughts and prayers aren't enough.
