---It's official: Obama only had two good years to turn this country around.
On Tuesday, the Republicans once again won the House and now, they officially own the Senate. Great, now we have TWO houses beating the same drum over and over: LET'S GET RID OF OBAMACARE! LET'S GET RID OF OBAMACARE! LET'S GET RID OF...
Even more bad news here in Michigan, Rick Snyder will be governor for another four more years. He only beat Mark Schauer, though, by four points (the margin between him and Virg Bernero in 2010 was much higher).
Now, Obama will have to work harder to maintain his policies and to tell both houses that love him or hate him, he's more popular than them.
What might be more sickening is that currently, Congress only has a 14% approval rating while Obama has a 46% rating. But yet, the same assholes who fucked up this country over the past four years will be there for another four, well into the next president's term.
But, that's what America wanted, and that's what we're gonna get: more shit for the next two years. All I can say now is that I hope to God that our next president in 2016 will still be a Democrat, especially if the top nomination is Jeb Bush.
But, that's what happens when you have the Koch brothers running things.
Ever watch the evening news as of late? Lots of BS that the Senate would be controlled by the Republicans. In my mind, that's because, well, look at the commercials: some middle-aged lady talking about drilling through shale (you know, fracking), Angel Soft, Sparkle paper towels, etc. Yep, that's the Koch brothers 4 ya. When a company buys air time on the evening news, you better tell the viewers what they, the sponsor want them to hear.
Americans, you can kiss your freedoms goodbye. We'll have more school shootings because the Repukes are pro-gun and women will go back to coat hangers for abortions. The other day on The Howard Stern Show, Jerry Springer said it right: young people just don't vote in mid-term elections. They only think that the president is worth voting for. Thing is, the president can't work effectively unless he has a proper Houses to deal with!
