It's offish! Congress' investigation on whose ass to kick in regards to the Flint water crisis has begun.

Both Democrats and Republicans seem to be all in agreement in regards to the fact that somebody is in deep ass shit because of the fact that people in the town of 100,000 don't have clean water to drink after governor Rick Snyder switched the city's water supply from the clean Lake Huron water Detroit uses to their own from the Flint River, which has been a dumping ground for factories for over 100 years.

Michigan congressman Justin Amash (R) recommended a non-partisan investigation into the water crisis. In an interview with Grand Rapids' WOOD-TV's Rick Albin, he said that no matter what, taxpayers will have to foot the bill. Here's an idea: since they're the ones running the state, how about the Devoses? After all, it might cost over a BILLION bucks just to fix the BS started by Devos and his cronies.

One person that was requested to appear was Darnell Earley, the Snyder-appointed Emergency Manager of Flint who ended up running Detroit's deteriorating public schools until Tuesday. One congressman, Utah's Jason Cheffettz (R) claims that he wants to "hunt him down" to appear in front of the committee to determine how terrible his role was in the Flint water disaster.

In the meantime, Snyder just signed a $30 million package to help Flint residents pay their water bills. In the words of the Church Lady: "well isn't that special?"

But that's to be expected from a CEO who fucked up a computer company. He sold Gateway to the Taiwanese company Acer and let shitloads of American jobs go. Now, he's doing worse with Michigan. Thousands of children in Flint may end up mentally retarded because of the poisoning and many more are now battling Legionnaire's Disease. I have a feeling that our next governor - probably a Democrat at this point - will be cleaning up Snyder's mess like Granholm did to Engler and that person will get the blame for Michigan's collapse. But whatever it is, somebody will hopefully go to jail.

I hope Snyder has a few bucks in his pocket.   -
