Sometimes, I wonder why anybody would want to sit and watch The 700 Club at all.
On Monday's episode of the hour-long Jebus chatfest, Pat Robertson proved to be just as stupid as the morons who give him money to keep his "ministry" on the air. He talked about drug addiction and told his flock that "cocaine is the product of a vegetable, alcohol is the product of a vegetable, marijuana is a vegetable"
Huh?
He also mentioned "God gave you and me as human beings authority, he gave us dominion over everything on this Earth, over all the animals, all the snakes, all the birds, all the plants, all the vegetables." He also said, "and yet, people are enslaved to vegetables. And you were made in the image of God. God made you in his image to reign and rule with him. He gave you incredible authority."
Nice, but really, Marion? Cannabis is a vegetable? True, alcohol comes from corn, but cocaine comes from a plant and cannabis is an HERB! Apparently, Pat is so fucking stupid that he might not have graduated from the 1st grade. Even I know that tomatoes and avocados - often misidentified as veggies - are fruits! They come from plants and not the ground.
Say, didn't Robertson himself support the legalization of pot only a few years ago? Oh, yes! HE DID!
Yeah, this is why Pat Robertson is a complete hypocrite. He supports Mary Jane and then backs off. You see, marijuana is NOT an addictive drug. It can cure cancers and diseases. Hell, it's safer than alcohol! I'm happy that some states have legalized it or in the process of legalizing it.
The real vegetables here are the morons who watch The 700 Club and give Pat Robertson their money. The asshole is worth AT LEAST $100 million and lives in a huge mansion in Virginia. I'll bet that most of Pat's donors are morons who are living deep in debt and think that watching those stupid vignettes of broke people giving to Pat will help them become financially well-off. The truth is, I've met people who have given to CBN and they're morons. One person lived in a trailer with another trailer in her backyard with its roof caved in. Says a lot, don't it?
